WHAT TO ENJOY IN HUE TO PHONG NHA PRIVATE CAR
1. La Vang holly land (55 km from Hue)
La vang is the first rest stop for travelers when traveling from Hue to Phong Nha private car. This is a holy site and an important pilgrimage place for Vietnamese Catholics. The church was built near three banyan trees, where they believed Maria appeared. Today, La Vang holly land is one of the three Catholic pilgrimage centers recognized by the Vietnamese government.
2. Hien Luong bridge – Ben Hai river (45 km from La Vang)
Hien Luong Bridge was the dividing boundary of the North and South Vietnam during Vietnam – American war. The bridge across the Ben Hai River in Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province, Vietnam. For 21 years of division, from 1954 to 1975. Therefore, Hien Luong bridge has become a National painful symbol of separation. 3. Vinh Moc tunnel (15km from Hien Luong bridge)
Since 1965, the US imperialists launched a sabotage war to the north of Vietnam. Vinh Linh district had surfed 500 tons of boom. To survive, The 1700 meters tunnel was built between 1956 and 1967 on a red hill near the shore North of DMZ line.
The tunnels are structured in 3 floors, of which the top floor is 8-10m deep, the second floor is 12-15m deep, the third floor is 23m deep. These layers and branches are interconnected through a 780m long spindle. In the tunnels are living space of the people, ammunition storages – food, organs of the Party and government, military, public works (hall, maternity house, Information station …). The whole system has 13 doors (7 doors to the sea, 6 doors to the hill). In nearly 2,000 days in the tunnel, the people of Vinh Moc were wounded and 17 babies were born.
4. Phong Nha cave
Phong Nha Cave is a cave in Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Quảng Bình Province, Vietnam. It is 7,729 metres long and contains 14 grottoes, as well as a 13,969 metre underground river. While scientists have surveyed 44.5 kilometres of passages, tourists are only allowed to explore 8 kms
5. Paradise cave
Paradise Cave dubbed as “underground palace” Heaven is one of the wonders of the magnificent and magical world most. Cave is nestled deep in the World Natural Heritage National Park Phong Nha Ke Bang, terrain catto neck, dating formed today about 350 to 400 million years.
6. Dark cave
Dark Cave is located within Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. The main entrance is on Ho Chi Minh Highway West, about five kilometres north of Paradise Cave. UnlikeParadise Cave, which is artificially lit and is about politely observing the interior from a fenced boardwalk.
