Chan May port to Hue city tour
Chan May port to Hue is one of the best stops for yachts and cruise liners around the world. It would be a mistake to go to Chan May cruise port without visiting Hue city (about 50 km north of Chan May sea port).

Chan May Port to Hue tour itinerary
6-7am – You will be welcomed by our friendly tour guide or driver at the sea port. After getting in the air-conditioned private car, the driver will take you from Chan May port to Hue. On the way there is an option to stop at some local restaurants for a cup of coffee or breakfast.
8.30am – Arriving at Hue, you will visit the most beautiful ancient mausoleum in Vietnam, Minh Mang Tomb. You will be attracted by the questions: Why the tomb was built magnificently when the king was still alive? Why it lies on the west at the mingle point of two branches of perfume river? Where does the King’s body lie now and why nobody dares to find it? What was the life of 500 King’s Concubines really like? and what happened to them when the king passed away?
10pm – Leave Minh Mang tomb to visit the highlight of Chan May to Hue trip, Ancient Hue citadel. This is famous as being one of the seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Vietnam. It is a popular stopping place among Hue’s attractions to discover the hidden charm of Vietnam. Hue Imperial city is the second rampart of Hue Citadel with the aim of protecting the most important architecture, Nguyen shrines and Forbidden citadel which is used only for the King and the royals. Here, you will admire the ancient works such as: Noon Gate, Thai Hoa palace, Forbidden city, Duyet Thi Duong theatre.
12.00pm – Have a hands on experience in making incence and conical hat at a local craft village. After that enjoy lunch with local foods such as Hue beef noodle, Hue spring roll, Hue pancake, fig salad and Huda beer etc.
1.30pm – After having lunch at a local restaurant we continue to visit Thien Mu pagoda. This is one of the most beautiful pagodas in Vietnam which lies in a romantic hill nearby to Perfume River. This is an ideal place for those who love to take photos and have an interest in knowing the origin of Buddhism.
2pm – After a long interesting day tour take a relaxing dragon Boat cruise on Perfume River. Cool down with the fresh wind from the sea and see the attraction of local life in the water and on the banks of the river.
4pm – Drive back to Chan Man port Vietnam. We will drop you off at the port where we finish the Chan May port to Hue tour
